MINDFUL CUTS

My dry cutting technique is shaped by years of experience, with a deep understanding of how to craft hair so it naturally falls into place. Occasionally, I may pause in silence, carefully mapping out how to cut your hair. Cowlicks, receding hairlines, or hair that’s either too thin or too thick are never seen as challenges, but as opportunities to find the perfect solution. Because I have always had long hair, I understand what women with medium to long hair, whether thin or thick, want. I aim to create blended, effortless layers that typically last between 3-5 months for women and 3-6 weeks for men, depending on the style.
Includes: All haircut services include a mini head spa shampoo, a warm eye mask and full styling.

APPOINTMENT DAY

I kindly ask that all clients arrive with freshly washed hair in its natural state. This process ensures that layers blend seamlessly, enhances movement, and balances thickness, helping you enjoy your haircut for longer. It also allows me to assess how your hair naturally lays, bends, or waves, and to understand details like your natural hairline, cowlicks, and density. Most appointments start with a dry cut, followed by a relaxing hair bath shampoo, additional cutting, and finished with full styling.

With years of experience, I recommend at least three visits. The first visit is dedicated to understanding your hair preferences, likes, dislikes, and concerns. The second visit is a check-in to evaluate how the style is working and to adjust the cutting or styling approach if necessary. The third appointment focuses on maintenance.

TOOLS

I pride myself with using Hikari Cosmos Scissors, hand-crafted in Japan and designed with precision. Each pair is individually tagged with a serial number and made using a blend of molybdenum, cobalt, and vanadium alloys for an exceptionally smooth glide. Each Hikari scissors in her collection serves a specific purpose for different sections of the head.
